Avoidable Mistakes as an Entrepreneur – Anoop Bishnoi

We are all aware that the year 2020 presented the world with several entrepreneurial challenges. You’ve probably read a lot of articles about what you need to do if you want to be a successful entrepreneur. For this article we reached out to one of the most hardworking and well-experienced entrepreneurs we know, Anoop Bishnoi, and asked him to tell us about the most common mistakes one makes as a business owner, so you can avoid and learn from them when you start your own businesses.

Here's what Anoop said, “Too many businesses usually start unplanned, and as the saying goes... Failing to plan is essentially planning to fail. The key is to organize, so map out a basic plan even if it’s just a page long. Always keep in mind that you are not alone, analyze the market and determine who your competitors are. It is critical to have a customer-first mindset when one is developing their product and determining their business model. The best that you can do to sustain your business in the long run, is to satisfy your customers and clients. Mistakes are a part of the process, so never be afraid to fail. The biggest mistake you can make is to allow other people's fears, doubts, and negativity to turn into your own self-doubt. Success is driven by passion, so never forget your passion and never stop learning. As an organization, the hunger for learning something new should always be there and as a leader, you should ensure that everyone in your company is evolving and adapting.”

Indeed, mistakes are simply opportunities for growth and learning but it’s also true that you’re one step closer to knowing what to do and how to do it, if you know what not to do! It’s better to set realistic goals and seek help whenever it’s needed, and whatever happens, don’t ever give up.
