Best advice to aspiring entrepreneurs – Anoop Singh Bishnoi
Passionate about your big idea but not sure how to start? Luckily we have something important that could surely help – first-hand advice from an experienced mentor. Jumping into the entrepreneurial world can be a bit intimidating, especially when you’re getting into something that you may not have tried yet. What can help is learning from those who have already achieved their goals, and been through the whole journey.
This is why we got in touch with one of the
most well-known names on the list of successful entrepreneurs - Anoop SinghBishnoi. We asked him if there’s something that he would like to share with the
aspiring entrepreneurs to help them get started and here’s what he said, “Great
ideas can come from anywhere, the world is full of them, but success only comes
through action, the easiest way to get started is by starting to do things! The
first thing is to ask yourself if you can do it, believe in your gut feeling
and you’ll always find ways through various obstacles. People who believe in
their dreams wouldn’t ever regret failure but they would definitely regret not
trying.”
Getting into entrepreneurship isn’t
actually that simple, you need to have that determination and confidence. Are
there strategies or advice to prepare yourself for the challenges? Here’s what
Anoop adds, “…when you have a solid business idea in your mind, take time to
improve it, perfect it – tune-up your business knowledge and research about
your target market, identify important attributes like price point,
branding/marketing, and everything that can appeal to your target audience.
Once you’re thorough with that, focus on building your product/service, create
what your customers would be attracted to, ideally something unique, that
stands out. Then you’ll see investors being interested in it automatically.”
Most startup founders are too
self-conscious about sharing their ideas, does it affect the business growth as
well? Anoop adds, “…if you’re someone who is just about to start something,
it’s natural to get a little possessive about it. But once you have built a
network of like-minded people, it’s actually great to ask for help. Not only
does it keep you on the right track, but also helps in gaining a bunch of
different ideas which can come in handy.
Entrepreneurship is a lifestyle but don’t
forget to balance your life by separating work and play. Manage your time well,
continue or pick up a hobby, and give time to your personal life too as that’s
where most of us draw our energy, motivation, and happiness from.
