Anoop Bishnoi - How to Stay Relevant in an ever-evolving Market

It’s difficult to overstate the importance of marketing in business, with the pace at which our society is advancing, it’s important to do whatever it takes to stay relevant.


In the last year and a half, the landscape of digital marketing has shifted enormously and unexpectedly. This pandemic after-effect has shifted consumer behavior from brick-and-mortar shops to e-commerce platforms and this rising popularity of social shopping gives an upper hand to those businesses that are more tech-savvy and use the latest digital methods of functioning.

Technology has changed the pace of businesses and it will continue to grow, what a smart entrepreneur should perhaps do is to increase the company’s relevance and effectiveness online. While talking with Anoop Bishnoi, a successful entrepreneur and business mentor, we asked him about a few ways how businesses can learn, grow and adapt to the changing technology, here’s what he quipped, “the first and the foremost thing that you need to do is to show the world that you know what you are doing, this helps you to establish credibility and substance in the industry. To do this, you should create and promote content that showcases your organization’s experience, skills, and achievements – write strong, interesting content to reach your targeted demographics, about your products and services; this will help you to attract potential customers as well.”

But focusing time and effort on creating and promoting effective content is not always enough, one also needs appropriate platforms and strategies to do so, how can that be managed? Anoop Singh Bishnoi says, “…for sure you need a platform and a solid plan to get your content, your brand and your message out in the world. A crucial tool in that could be your company’s website; a user-friendly web presence provides a satisfying digital experience and will increase the likelihood of them shopping with you again as well as works as word of mouth advertising at its finest!”

Online marketing is incredibly fast-paced, if there could be a genuine piece of advice for start-up entrepreneurs, what would it be? Anoop feels, “In this fast-paced world, where you’re only as good as your last campaign, make sure to adapt and not to get attached. This World moves at the speed of light, so keep researching the trends and predictions, select one marketing channel at a time, use a mature advertising platform like Facebook or Instagram ads, grow your presence over there, and be patient until it’s optimized. Additionally, upskill your marketing team, and help them advance their knowledge and efforts…after all, we can’t grow as a company unless we grow as individuals.”

Where there is uncertainty, there are also tremendous opportunities – challenge yourself to find them, invest time in learning skills to make the most out of them.
