After that, create a plan, a concise pitch – focus on thoughtful and honest feedback from people around you and prepare something that effectively communicates your product’s plans; highlight its values, demonstrate its need and how it fulfills that, and don’t forget to mention the market segment that you’ll be targeting. Finally, convert your skillset into a profitable product that speaks for itself, and you’ll definitely find financial support through investors.”

Starting up from scratch is always challenging and risky, but staying focused and having a clear directional plan can make things smooth. Last year, the Union government announced that all admissions to Central Universities for undergraduate courses would be decided by a Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The CUET’s goals are admirable, and it is likely that this will change the education landscape in a few years. After all, unreasonable high school cutoffs are a legitimate concern, and the CUET may, in the long run, level the playing field for students across the country.
