Anoop Singh Bishnoi – On Education and His Entrepreneurial Journey

Co-director and Promoter of Bisco Ltd., Anoop Singh Bishnoi is working on a master plan to provide companionship and assist young aspirants to reach their educational goals, all of this while paving the way for their future opportunities in the global industries.

The serial entrepreneur – Anoop Singh Bishnoi, is currently working on several projects including Associated Distilleries Ltd., Bhanu Industries Ltd., and BISCO Ltd. He’s also a Chairman at JDS School and Friends Of Round Square ( now, Forum of Regional Schools). He has served as a member of the board of Governors at IIT, Kanpur and at present holds the same position at The Doon School, Dehradun.

A Passion To Support Learning

Bishnoi holds a strong background in the educational and corporate/commercial sector, and it is this passion that drives him to teach students more than what’s there in textbooks. He believes that the only way to empower people is through education, but education alone can’t do everything, and one needs to develop a set of skills to bring their lessons to use.

At present, he’s working on bringing innovative education practices in his regional school, with a focus to develop essential skills in children from an early age, so they can adapt to the myriad skill sets that tomorrow’s jobs will need.

To Keep That Curiosity Alive

Bishnoi calls himself a lifelong learner and he strongly believes that growth is a part of life, and indeed we all grow with time… but to grow in the direction of success, one needs support and assistance, and that’s what he’s passionate to deliver.

To turn his desire into action, he’s currently involved in multiple social work programs across the country. From providing scholarships for students who lack the financial means to pursue higher education to distributing funds, his foundations are doing all that it takes to help diligent students achieve their dreams.

At present, the family foundation is in the process of setting up colleges, a school, and a skill development center in Dist. Fazilka, Punjab.

It would be interesting to see how he takes it forward in the near future, and how it will impact education and society in the coming time.
